We created an aggressive plan of attack. First, an advertising program was developed
that included print and broadcast media – speaking to the needs of the senior market.
It needed to promote but also educate the public on the unique business concept.
The goal was positioning One Senior Place (OSP) as the “go to” company for senior
resources. We found opportunities to reach multiple vertical markets within each
of the business and consumer markets in a public relations program. From the business
perspective, representatives from the company began a “whisper” campaign – unofficially
dropping information to selected industry leaders to get some conversation traveling
around the community. We created a business kit, mailed letters to all elder care
association leaders, and company officials got on the speaking circuit at organization
lunches and meetings to share the news. With consistent advertising for both business
and consumer running, as well as an intensive community relations focus, the word
spread fast and early adopters were spreading the news.
