Brevard Workforce Development Board
To adjust to rising concerns about funding cuts, Brevard Workforce Development Board
decided to package and sell a program they had developed for their agency – the Virtual
Job Fair. Moving companies away from brick and mortar events, the Virtual Job Fair was
designed to make it easier and less expensive for companies to hold a job fair AND make
it easier for Job Seekers to review job opportunities and apply for positions.
The
company also wanted to showcase the wide scope of jobs available, from entry level
to professional. McBride Woodbridge Marketing designed a Virtual Job Fair Sales Kit,
which included an all-inclusive package that provided a step-by-step process for
implementing a job fair. The kit also included template graphics, logos, advertising,
and support materials to make it a plug-and-play solution. The kit was unveiled at an
industry trade show, followed up by a news release and web ad to other workforce boards.
We created 20 kits in the first run, 6 of which were sold at the initial launch.
The company hopes to continue to sell the kits as an independent source of income for
the agency and its programs.
