MIMA
Part of the program we recommended as part of the MIMA marketing program was to initiate a
public relations program. A company who had never really done much external marketing or PR,
we developed an integrated and varied program that included news releases, feature stories,
internal communications, and community relations. We incorporated new services, physician
accomplishments, accreditations, events, technology, and MIMA sub-brands. Our goals included
expanding the local media’s relationship with the group as the largest independent physician
group in the area, as well as make sure patients were better informed about products and services.
Results in a 12-month period:
- 12 main feature stories on treatments, physician specialties and credibility
- Weekly placements in calendar listings, news briefs, and short focus
- Increased media relations for MIMA as source for medical stories
- Successful launch of 14 new physicians with referral and new patient appointments
- Expanded visibility for specialty areas such as MIMA Cancer Center, MIMA Diabetes
